About Valorant

Valorant is a free-to-play tactical first-person hero shooter developed and published by Riot Games. It launched for PC on June 2, 2020, taking inspiration from the Counter-Strike franchise with mechanics such as a buy system, recoil spray patterns, and accuracy penalties based on movement. Development first started back in 2014, and the game was first announced to the public in 2019 under the working title Project A. In June 2024, Valorant was also released for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, although crossplay between PC and console platforms is not supported.

In Valorant, players control Agents, a cast of characters drawing inspiration from different nations and cultures around the world. In the main game mode, two teams of five players face off as attackers and defenders. Every Agent has unique abilities that require charges to use, plus an ultimate ability that charges up through in-game actions like getting kills, being eliminated, collecting orbs, or completing objectives.

At the beginning of each round, players start with the Classic pistol and at least one charge of their Agent’s signature ability. 1.VALORANT Points (VP)

VALORANT Points (VP) serve as the premium in-game currency for VALORANT, obtainable only through real-money transactions. Players can spend VP to unlock cosmetic items, acquire Radianite Points, or upgrade to the Premium Battle Pass track for each Act, which costs 1000 VP. Its main uses include:

Like other cosmetic upgrades, these enhancements provide no competitive advantage and only change the appearance of items.
