What Is Zenless Zone Zero?

Zenless Zone Zero is an action RPG developed by miHoYo and published globally by Cognosphere, also known as HoYoverse. The game combines anime-style labyrinths, urban slice-of-life comedy stories and a multi-character tag-team combat system.

Players can switch between characters and perform stylish battles using blocks, dodges and chain attacks. Excellent action-animation design further enhances the satisfying feel of combat.

What Is the Zenless Zone Zero Currency System?

Zenless Zone Zero features a complete currency system that is important for obtaining and developing Agents and W-Engines, as well as participating in various in-game activities.

These currencies can generally be divided into three categories: paid currency, Signal Search currency and in-game currency.

Paid Currency — Monochromes

Monochromes are the primary paid currency. They can be purchased with real money through the in-game Store or online stores such as Grecharge. Monochromes can mainly be exchanged for Polychromes at a 1:1 ratio.

Signal Search Currency — Encrypted Master Tapes

Signal Search currency is used in the Signal Search system to obtain Agents and W-Engines in Zenless Zone Zero.

The relevant items include Master Tapes, which are used for stable channels, and Encrypted Master Tapes, which are used for exclusive channels.

These items can be obtained by exchanging Polychromes or through level rewards, missions, events, the Battle Pass and relevant exchange resources in the Store.

In-Game Currency

Polychromes: The primary premium currency, mainly used for Signal Searches or replenishing Battery Charge.

Other in-game currencies, such as Dennies and Boopons, are not covered in detail in this article. Players can explore them in the game.

How to Get Polychromes and Monochromes in Zenless Zone Zero

Monochromes are a premium paid currency that can only be obtained by spending real money through the in-game top-up Store. Please note that top-up methods and prices may vary depending on the channel, platform or region.

In the in-game Store, open “Menu,” select “Store” and use the “Monochrome” section to complete your top-up.

There are also many third-party top-up platforms to choose from. Grecharge is one option for purchasing Monochromes because it prioritizes account security and offers attractive discounts.

Grecharge also provides detailed product information, so you can choose the right product with confidence, including Battle Pass products. It may be an ideal choice for your Zenless Zone Zero top-ups.

Polychromes can be obtained through in-game events, exploration, story missions, Daily Commissions and the Battle Pass. They can also be obtained by exchanging Monochromes.

Please note that once Monochromes have been exchanged for Polychromes, they cannot be converted back.

Another cost-effective way to obtain Polychromes is to purchase the Inter-Knot Membership. After purchase, players will immediately receive 300 Monochromes and can receive an additional 90 Polychromes each day by logging in during the following 30 days.

The price is the same as purchasing 300 Monochromes directly, while also providing an additional 2,700 Polychromes.
